Also included here is LIVE AND LET DIE (1973), the first 007 adventure in which Roger Moore takes over as an adequate shoe-filler, as well as Pierce Brosnan's final appearance in DIE ANOTHER DAY (2002) If your a Bond fan, you might as well get them on Blu-ray and seem him at his very best. The Blu Ray's detail coupled with the vivid colors from a big screen LCD revitalizes the old mono-sound & standard resolution Dr. No and Live and Let Die versions. These two from 1961 and 1974 have been showing their age but the Blu Ray conversion transforms them to now. The greater picture makes these Blu Rays worth the additional costs. I now look forward to selling off my old standard DVD Bond collection to upgrade to Blu-ray. Review ID: 10000000011500551 Was this review helpful? I sat down and watch Sean Connery in Dr. No with her and I couldn't believe the clarity! It sure beats watching an old fuzzy versions on VHS and DVD. The blu-ray really makes Bond come to life and with three great Bond movies in Volume 1, Dr. No, Live and Let Die and Die Another Day, it's a great set to own for any Bond fan! I would highly recommend it! Review ID: 10000000009920497 Was this review helpful? Report this review Page 1 of 1 Ready to share your opinion with others? Write a Review |
