The left analog stick is missing half of its rubber coating and the controller was sent to me dirty. After a short cleaning this controller works properly. I had to keep recharging them every couple of days and that was annoying. The new wired controller features nine whole feet of cable, more than enough for you to sit across the room from the TV in most houses. The wired controller, also, won't run out of juice in mid-game. This is vital if you're one of those people who get really angry/frustrated when you lose because of something you forgot to plug in and charge. Recently I have been bidding on both Wired and Wireless controllers on eBay, and I have found that it is much easier to negotiate a lower price on the Wired controller because of less overall demand for them amongst gamers. The Wireless controller, however, can be found as low as $20.00 under retail on eBay, making it a steal for anyone who would like an upgrade. The wireless controller features a 40 hour life span on two AA batteries and up to 60 hours on it's rechargeable battery pack. It is recommended for those who get wireless controllers with the battery pack to play until the controller battery is almost completely depleated, so it can charge up more than it would when it's charged. I recommmend that everyone analyze first themselves. How long do you like to play games at one sitting? How far is the most comfortable seat in your room away from the TV?
