Microsoft Halo 3: Spartan Edition Wireless Controller for Xbox 360

The controller was in great shape and the graphics on the controller were why I bought it. The kids really love the designs.

My son loves the product and he was very excited at christmas. He's six and he plays video games often. Therefore this was the perfect gift. Especially since Halo is one of his favorite games!

I wanted a second wireless controller, and since I have the Halo 3 Special Edition console, this was a perfect match. It works just like the regular contoller, very happy with it.

This really was a great buy for a unique controller with quick shipping and the right price for a basic controller; even better for the HALO controller.

First off, the controller looks awesome! I wanted a Halo 3 controller that had a little more spice to it than the green 360 edition controller, which I do not own, even though it looks cool. The controller has all the basic features of any wireless Xbox 360 controller with one added, absolutely amazing feature--the second trigger button/rapid fire button. If you are playing Halo 3, COD: World at War, Left 4 dead, or just about any other game that requires split second reaction time then this controller with this feature is for you. It allows you to hold down a small button located on the underside of the controller to the left of the battery pack for continuous firing in a fps game. If you are firing a semi-automatic weapon in any of the above listed games and can't pull the trigger as fast as the competition then you need this button. You hold it down and it turns a semi-automatic into an automatic. You unload the same amount of rounds as fast as the respective weapon is able to unload them, increasing the amount of lead you can dish out into opponents and relieving the stress from the finger that normally pulls the right trigger. In Left 4 dead it turns the dual pistols into a fully automatic 30 round clip machine gun--it's sweet! I haven't found a use for the trigger outside of a fps game, or a way to configure the button to any other one but the right trigger. The great thing about it is that you can use either or, or both to fire with. I didn't know the controller was coming with that feature on it, or that it existed, but I love it. The controller looks great, plays great, and shoots faster than any of my friends controllers. I would highly recommend it to someone who wants a unique controller with some serious first person shooter capabilities.

I really like this controller. I just started out looking for a new controller because I just bought an xbox 360 but then I found the spartan edition with this awesome artwork and a replica of master chief so I had to have it, especially because the price was lower than anywhere else.

This is a very good looking control. I chose it over MadCats because of its quality. I own a Halo3 xbox and wanted to compliment my other halo3 control. I get compliments all the time. Now I own 4 green Halo3 controls. Funny...I dont even like playing halo.

I bought this as a gift for my brother in law. He loved it! For me though, the picture just isn't 'Halo' enough. Yes, a halo nut can tell what it is immediately, but for the rest of us who have just seen Halo a few times, it's doesn't scream Halo. Overall, if you are a huge Halo fan, It is perfect for you.

There are a few things that I liked about this controller, I play Gears of war 2 and the rapid fire works great only with the pistol. The problem with it though is that I have to be host for it to truly work. I was hoping that it would work with other weapons such as the hammerburst, or if it would be somewhat perficient off host. Otherwise it works great, I have tried it on Left for dead, and duel wielding the pistols is amazing!

Was a must have for the new Xbox 360. It was a huge hit! Works excellent. My children had to have four different controllers and this one is very special. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is thinking of buying a special controller for an Xbox gamer.

This is the one controller everyone wants to use. It's not really any different than the others, it's got the same controls and control. My friends need help the really think they are Spartans sometimes I hate to say. lol

It works just like the OEM controller which you get when you buy a XBOX 360. It is just that this is customized with HALO3 graphics and comes with a collectors figure. It is certainly nice to have something different than a plain old controller.

My husband is a huge Halo fan- and this was a great gift for him. Very nice graphics and collectors figurine.
