TomTom ONE 130 Car GPS Receiver

It is very easy to use, and handy...comes with a dash mount which is great.
now I will never be lost! : )
The only you have to use a pen to type on the screen a little small..but other than that it is great would recommend for anyone!

This GPS is simple to use. With the community, one should be able to keep updated, but I haven't tried that yet.
It gets you there, but you have to understand how far away 400, or 800 yards is. With use this gets learned. If I had it to do over again, I would spend the extra $50 and get the 130S which has Text -to-speech. It really helps to know the name of the street to turn when you don't know the area.

I ordered this unit for my wife's birthday. We quickly had it up and running and it appeared to work quite well. However, the sound was very poor quality and very soft. It was inaudible below 50%, and when turned up all the way was distorted, thin and weak sounded. We contacted Tomtom customer service who agreed that the unit was defective and had us return it. We are now awaiting the arrival of our replacement Tomtom One 130.

number one. this was purchased buy accident on buy it now as I told seller that. but seller refused to do any thing about it. so I paid for it. then the seller would not leave me a feedback. I am 75 years old and asked the seller If I could just pay for realisting he told me that was not possible. so I paid for it. so do not know about the unit as have never used it. I bet you are sorry you asked. JAY PS this unit will be for sell soon

I like that the product works excellent. I was looking for a tomtom and I decided to buy it because this Gps has a great price and it comes with warranty.

I upgraded from the TomTom ONE XL to the TomTom One 130 because my old unit was starting to have problems booting up. The new unit is amazingly light and fast. There is a clever mounting bracket that easily folds up so the whole thing fits in the pocket.

A couple of negatives:
The TomTom One XL could be operated from the TomTom HOME program on my computer. This was helpful in setting up multi-stop itineraries. The TomTom ONE 130 cannot be operated from TomTom Home.

The power connector is a mini-usb type. The access point for it is recessed in the bottom of the unit. I find the positioning awkward and often have problems connecting the power cord. It's a weird glitch in the design.

This product will work fine for me. Just a little more help while traveling.
I like the compact size.

The TomTom One 130 is a good entry level GPS without all the bells & whistles of the more expensive models. It is very easy to use. It may not always guide you in the very best route, but it will get you to your destination. One nice feature is that if you miss a turn, it will either tell you to turn around or if possible it will recalculate in the direction you are heading.

Came sealed as new unit in time for Christmas. Gave as gift and heard back that it works as well as expected.

me and my husband love it.he had to take a trip and that morning you could hardly see.he said without the tomtom he would have never seen his turns or exits.we decided to buy it because we used one my mother had bought and really liked it so we decided we should have one.wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.no way can you get lost ever again with this device.

I purchased a Tom Tom GPS and was very pleased with it although I liked the Garmin as the volume was a little louder. This would not be a problem for those that hear well. I showed my son the Tom Tom and he was impressed and said he would like one so I decided to give it to him I then bid and won a Garmin c550 which I really like.

I already have one TomTom and like their product. The TomTom 130 new product looked to be just as well with more. It works great just like other TomTom. If I had to say anything bad it would be the voice volume but that doesn't bother me that much. Great product and interface with web for updates !

i love the functionalality of this item, i use it all the time. there are only 2 problems i have wit it.. the first one is the battery life stinks ofn it, i have it plugged in all the time and when i unplug it the battery dies fast. the 2nd problem is there is a green promotion screen for tom tom that appears every couple of minutes and it is very destracting as you are driving. over all, it is a very good unit for anyone

needed it for an employee. he does routing work, new on the job and tom tom was much faster than trying to read a map. the maps are accurate and this was the small down fall for the tom tom.

I bought this and it really works great. My only disappointment is that it does not speak street names as advertised, unless I'm doing something wrong and there's not much to do to get it to work. I've contacted the seller for the second time to ask about it but still no reply...... But, it works great!

I love the fact that I never have to worry about finding my way around anywhere in the US and Canada :D

I Love that it tells you long before you get to the street that you are getting close.
I decided to buy it because I need it for work. I hate getting lost and mapquest is the worst!!

it help me not get lost i bought it for me and mom and dad to gone new place so we go to kc our back east we can find place like our old street and frieds

product is great. many options. picture is clear, I like the option of different voices not just the same old lady like the other ones. I like being able to hook to the computer and download new routes. Being able to change routes is perfect, scenic, less time, less miles...great options.
