Bought this at very resonable price and sent to my son in Iraq for some entertainment and sure he will enjoy it.

Delicately unfolded like turning the pages of an old crime thriller. No time is wasted introducing the characters or background on locations, you're simply following a very silent, very intricate masterpiece and know within the first twenty minutes this tale will have no business of anything regrettably stupid or silly. Little-known Javier Bardem executed one of the best performances of a murderer I've ever seen.

The plot is great and it has definately got a lot of action. However, the ending sucks. It ruined the movie for me. It ends on a loose end and I hate that. However, most people still like it because it's a good movie. I actually saw it prior to buying it. I bought it for my step-dad because I think he'll like it.

Most excellent movie, the Cohens know how to bend your mind around the little details in a story. Hard to tell whats coming around the bend in this thriller. I love to keep guessing . Makes want more and more.

I loved this film for its raw content and un-interupted suspensful surprises. The tone of the movie flows freely with out any back ground music, which sets the perfect mode for an great cinematic experiance. In high definition this film is beutiful to watch. I have seen this movie at least six times and find new depth to it each time.

A must see movie. Dark and edgy with no lame special effects. This is a movie you can watch over and over again. Great movie 5/5 star.

After The Big Lebowski this is my favorite Coen brothers film. It is hard to say why I like it so much, I just do.

I love this Blu-ray version of No Country For Old Men, I must have viewed it 15 times! Javier Bardem is an excellent actor from Spain,and a bit out of his usual character-type (as in Love in the Time of Cholera, where he plays a playboy lovesick philanderer), does a superb job of doing the job of portraying psychopathic killer, Anton Chigur, who, by my count, kills 9 in the movie.
Josh Brolin, husband in real life of Diane Lane, sex-kitten of the silver screen, plays Llewellin Moss, who happens upon 2 million dollars in hundred dollar packs, stashed in a satchel and left in the desert after a Mexican drug deal went bad. He is pursued throughout the film for the money by the relentless Chigur, and finally meets his end without any justice, by a gang of Mexican bandits, and, in fact, even Anton Chigur, the killer, never gets any of the 2 million.
This Academy award and Caan Film Festival winner for 2007, is an excellent movie directed by the celbrated and perfectionist Coen Brothers, and in Blu-ray proves well worth the higher pricetag.

Great movie which looks excellent on Blue Ray. If you want a good blue-ray buy this movie!!! I bought this because I saw this movie in theater and it was great. It won academy awards so right there is one way to show you this is a great movie.

Entertaining and creative movie that's worth watching once. It's part of the new genre of movie that ends leaving you unfulfilled and wanting more. I wouldn't recommend buying it.

This was an intense experience that showed off some very fine acting skills in its players. Appropriately graphic without going over the top, the story was engaging and gripping. If there is no sequel (and I don't see a movie like this really supporting one) then the ending was too open ended with no resolution. If there is a sequel hurry up with it!

Instant cult classic. If you seen Fargo (which was written by the same guys) and liked Fargo, then you will definately love this movie. Everything about this movie was perfect. It will have you on the edge of your seat.

I am very disappointed in this film. The ending not only leaves you hanging, but also makes you wonder what the filmmakers were thinking...

You may never think this movie is good until you see it for yourself...wow, great performance in all! The cast is incredible and I know why Javier B. won best supporting role. Must see!

This movie was a good movie, full of action. Would recommend for to another person. Great movie looks good in HD.

As for the plot, one guy was fortunate enough to find a pack full of money in the middle of a battlefield and take it, but unfortunate enough to realize later that he was messing with the wrong people.

This was a good starter and, until the middle of the movie, things were going pretty interesting and I felt very attached to the history. Blood and shooting everywhere and everytime driven by the Chigurh-Moss chase. A real and enjoyable countryside thriller.

Then, the conclusion: Moss was killed, Chigurh got hit by a car bump and just walks away (apparently not being busted) and the sheriff, once eager for catching the murderer, ended up sitting, reflecting about life and the past. If there's a subtle message in the end of the movie, I don't really know, but I have to confess that this finale has not made much of a sense to me.

Although I found the end confusing, this movie is good in the general sense and rescues the idea that low or middle budget movies can be as interesting and entertaining as pricey ones. I also liked the production: more images and action than dialogue, a lot of suspense and not much music running in the background. Suspense scenes are better when there is no or just a little sound with it.
