UTStarcom G'zOne Type-S (Verizon Wireless)

OK, so I have heard mixed reviews about this phone because some people get what this phone is all about and some don't. This phone is a RUGGED PHONE. That's it. It is absolutely THE BEST option if you want a phone that will hold up to the daily wear and tear that cell phones are subjected to and be completely unaffected. It is absolutely waterproof, it doesn't break from falls onto my tile floors, concrete, etc., and it just WORKS. It doesn't have an amazing camera or a million song capacity or a bunch of awesome games because people who want this phone usually don't give a crap about that. What is does have is text messaging, a standard camera, BLUETOOTH, and DURABILITY. If you are considering buying this phone because you keep breaking or drowning phones, stop considering and do it. This is an AMAZING phone. Oh, and NO OTHER phone can be completely submerged in water other than the line of G'z one phones. The rest are "water resistant". I have dropped mine in water a dozen times already just to show people that it really does keep working. GET THIS PHONE YOU WON"T BE SORRY

This is an awesome phone. It's very easy to use and has many wonderful features. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who works outdoors or who isn't very easy with their phone. Also this seller is wonderful and I would buy from again...very honest and accurate!

Phone was in like new condition as described. Shipping was good. Problem with charger, but new one was sent within a week or two. Will purchase from them again.

does not have push to talk, bought the phone also because it was water proof and thought by ad that it had push to talk

I love this phone. For a fraction of the cost and only a few minor scratches on the exterior of the phone it is refirbished and works better than any new phone I purchased from verizon wireless store FOR REAl. I bought the phone because I liked the phone and wanted a G'zOne for sometime,and the price was right. I like the features on the phone and the fact that the G'zOne is more rugged than other phones.

This was a good purchase the phone had a problem but they were very good about fixing the problem!! They were quick on shipping and also when i found that i had a problem they were quick at resolving the issue!!

I really like the fact that it takes a beating and keeps working. I'm rough on cell phones and have been through several models over the past year. This one has been dropped several times and comes back for more. The sound leaves a little to be desired but it isn't enough to make a big difference. I've yet to drop it into water to test the waterproof quality but not willing to drop it into a bucket of water to test it. If you are looking for a light weight phone his isn't the one your looking for. It is a tank compared to most phones. The trade off is the durability. Battery life has been good as well.

Bought this for my wife. Solid phone that works well. Not over the top with bells and whistles, but get's the call through when you need it, and it doesn't feel like it will break if you sneeze in the wrong direction. I can't wait to get one for myself!

I like thats it's water resistant and shock resistant. I just dropped my phone in water and need a new one quick so i bought this one.

phone is great for people that work outdoors, etc. i bought it for my boyfriend, he is a mechanic. always dropping his phone or banging against stuff. this is perfect, being as it has rubber all around and is waterproof!!
