I thought I was just buying the DVD, when it arrived it turned out to be the collectors edition! with booklet and all!
A brilliant classic, well worth the purchase :D

This movie is honestly one of the best movies I have ever seen. I have watched it many times through the years, and it just gets better each time. It's funny, adventerous, romantice, but in a way that both men and women can enjoy. Based off a fantastic book, The Princess Bride has a wonderful cast, including actors such as Andre the Giant and Cary Elwes. This movie has humor at every turn! I suggest you buy it, no matter what your age. Everyone, old and young, will enjoy it!

A Classic of the 21st Century! Love, honor, mystery, wit, humor, friendship,... this movie has it all and without any blood, gore, sex, or vulgar language. Inconceivable! ... but true. : )

I have no complaints about the purchase. The movie was perfect and it arrived in a timely manner. The person who sold me that movie was concerned with making sure that I was happy with every part of the purchase.

To me there is no greater comedy classic movie that The Princess Bride! I have watched my old VHS tape of it so many times it is all but worn completely out! So, I decided to get one on DVD on Ebay. I love it! This one will last much longer, too! If you have never seen this movie, trust me -- you will be in stitches all through this movie! This one is a true cult classic!

Basically, everyone I know who has ever seen this movie puts it on their "top ten". Constant, unexpected scenes which will have you laughing out LOUD. The love story is simply the back-drop for a slew of hilarious characters. You will never forget Inigo Montoya after seeing this movie. There are only two profanities that I can think of (one I really could have done without: a little boy saying "Jesus" in a very disrepectful tone - but considering who produced this movie [Norman Lear] - the relative lack of profanity is really amazing). This was clearly designed to be a family film. The love story aspect will not put off anyone - not even your bug-loving, romance-hating, little boys. Again, the real movie is the unique and surprising characters. Another don't miss.

We bought this for out daughter as a wedding gift. She has always liked it and we wanted to give them a great family movie. It is a clean, fun and exciting movie that everyone can watch. My five year old loves it as well.

THE PRINCESS BRIDE is one of my personal favorite all around movies. It has a great plot, beautiful photography, humor, both outright funny scenes, subtle humor and slapstick.
The movie is appropriate for all ages. My children and I use some phrases from the Princess Bride at different times when we are having fun or engaged in serious competetive play. Watch it and you will want this for your own media library. It is great fun!

The Princess Bride - This movie snuck up on me. This was so funny and I had heard nothing about it when I saw it, so I was pleasantly surprised. You will crack up when you see this, trust me, buy this movie!
