Saints Row 2 (Playstation 3)

Great game of mayhem! You can totally customize your character to look, talk, walk any way you want. The missions you play are fun, especially the won where you are armed with a water cannon on top of a portable toilet truck spraying liquid....brown stuff!
Lots of detail and hidden features, and very gore. Lots of foul language spoken, and in music played. Certainly not for children.
The online play is also fun where you battle against other players of various skill level.
A great game to play!

so much u can do, great graphics very realstic, tons of weapons, plenty of cheat codes available at gamefaqs.com to enhance playing capabilities a very detailed missions, not to difficult, yet still very much a challenge!

This is kinda like GTA but you can do alot more and customize your character. Pimp out your house. and just do alot more than GTA IV thats for sure....Very fun game....

The person i bought it fron took the money and disabled his account. I set up a dispute and nothing happened.

Like Grand Theft Auto San Andreas with better graphics and amazing cut scenes. A must have if you like the GTA series

Gameplay is awesome, great graphics. VERY reminiscent of GTA3 with some components of GTA4 as well. Good choice of weapons, but cars look and feel more like toys than real cars. The best feature is being able to totally customize your player into anyone you want.

The game play is not as smooth as Grand Theft Auto but the game itself i find more enjoyable. Many options to customize and endless bloodshed. The soundtracks are also a major upgrade. 8 out of 10 in my opinion!!

Saints Row 2 is the sequel to an xbox 360 only open world crime game. It is impossible to not compare this game to Grand Theft Auto 4 but if you give both of them an impartial look, they play very differently. Perhaps the best way to describe Saints Row is the "anti-GTA 4".

GTA 4 was one of the most massive games ever created. The expansiveness of Liberty City can be a bit daunting. The whole game just oozes polish from every polygon. The amount of resources that Rockstar must have poured into the making of the game must have been staggering. If this is the case, why are so many people's copies gathering dust? I can only speak for myself, but the game was lacking one very important thing. The game was just not fun. Despite all the polish, the voice acting, the story, I just didn't enjoy it.

The reason why I say all of this is because Saints Row 2 is almost the complete opposite. It is one of the most fun games I have played in recent memory. Then when you bring a friend along in co-op it just gets insane. Playing with another person over PSN is a blast as you cover each other's back blasting gangmembers, cops, and the Ultor corporation. It's hard not to crack a smile when your partner is speeding down the wrong side of a highway weaving through traffic while your blowing away your motorcycle riding pursuers with a grenade launcher. Not to mention the heaploads of customization options you can make to your protagonist, your cars, your houses, and your gangs. You can invite someone over just to show them your super tricked out rides.

Not that the game is perfect. The graphics are good, but not necessarily great. The colors in certain areas can seem a little washed out. The shooting mechanics could use a cover system a la gta 4, but you can grab anyone nearby and use them as a human shield which works out pretty good as well. Also the game has a plethora of adult situations and very coarse language. I'm not very squeamish when it comes to exposing responsible kids to a some PG-13 or even light rated R kind of stuff, but the thought of playing this game around an impressionable child makes me uneasy and probably shouldn't be done. So if you have young ones, definitely have them occupy themselves in another room or wait until after bedtime to bust this baby out.

All in all, if you even a casual fan of open world crime games, you owe it to yourself to at least give Saints Row 2 a try. Heck, you can even hit me up and I'll play with ya!!! PSN ID flickorp

the way you fly planes boats and car are cool but the gane has a couple of gliches but then i guess that ok if you dont mine them

I love this game... if you like the grand Theft Auto series, you will like this game too. Lots to explore and do.

I'm not going to sit here and say that the game is better that GTA4, but its good to see that there is some competition. the good - mission and side activities are very entertaining. Graphics - are good but that's not important. to be able to create your own character is awesome and you could change him or her any time in the game. the game is flat out funny and entertaining.
- the only bad thing that I notice during game play was that there is way too many glitches, you could loose some missions/activities because of the glitches its kind of frustrating but have a shot of whiskey and get over it. over all it is a very entertaining game. I'll most likely keep playing it after I finish but for now I am taking my sweet time playing allot of the activities. this game is most certainly a must have for those of you who like GTA type free roaming games, I hope that other game developers would try and make games like these.

Good! Nice Game, many things to do in the game, Many missions, great online multiplayer setup. Gta like except Gta has better graphics and allows you to date.

This game is like Grandtheft auto only with a fully custom game play everything from cars to cribs one of the best games out on ps3 xbox and pc i recomend this game saints row 3 is in progress of being made look for it 2010.

The only thing I don't like about the game is there isn't auto-aiming but that just makes it more challenging. This game is by far the best one in it's type... "It's type" I think it may have a class of it's own because nothing else comes close. I own GTA IV and Saint's Row 2 and I haven't touched GTA IV since I started playing SR2. I wouldn't recommend letting younger kids play it because of the nature of the game. As a parent you have to make that call based on your kids.
