Stomp The Yard (DVD, 2007, Widescreen)

I just viewed this movie the other day. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a breakdancing video at first, but then realised it is based on step-dancing. However, there is a bit of breakdancing here and there. A bit of a romantic plot is present throughout the film as well. Very good movie, definitely recommend to a 'somewhat' younger crowd.

Very good movie. Keeps you interested. Great music and storyline. Love the actors in this one! You will love it as much as I did.

My son loves this movie and so do I! If you want to dance (really, who doesn't) this is an excellent show to have in your collection. These actors/actresses worked there bums off and their hard work shows in this movie. You'll feel the need to dance right along with them and long after the movie is off. It has good moral issues in here as well...

Nice movie for the most part. I bought it because it was one of the recent DVDs out there and I missed it in the movies. As always great deals are on ebay so why not.

The only issue is the same lead actress in all these college/high school settings. Other than that a nice fresh look for a leading man & cool insight in Fraternities (even though some of it is over done).

I can give it 4 stars. It's a movie you can watch again & not feel bored.

I really dont like dancing movies but this movie made me feel like dancing. Okay its not dancing but more like stomping. Its like hip hop dance battles. This movie is predictable like any of those cheesy movies. But this actually made me enjoy and respect people who battle for a living or do it on the streets. Its a must watch movie so you can understand this lifestyle.

I had already seen the movie, it was a gift for my daughter, and she just loved it, the picture was good no scratches at all played very well. I arrived very quickly also. thankyou.

Love the dancing and story. feel good movie. Story of struggle and being somebody your not.... and when to be your self. shows ignorance amongst our own people because of financial and cultural differances. The good guy gets the girl. theres a right time and place for everything. Good movie!!

I JUST BOUGHT IT LAST NIGHT AND I HAVE WATCHED IT 3 TIMES ALREADY! WATCHING SOMEONE GO THROUGH THE LOSS OF A FAMILY MEMBER AND TO NOT LET THAT HOLD THEM BACK OF BEING A BETTER PERSON AND WHILE NOT BEING BITTER IN THE PROCESS! THUMBS UP FROM ME! ALL THE WAY........AND WHAT A GOOD MOVIE, THE UNDERDOG ALWAYS GETS THE GIRL!

Another dancing movie is what I first thought when i heard about it, but since i love to watch dancing it made me see it. It has a pretty good story line and plot. It is at no lack of showing the people "stomp" throughout the movie. Overall a decent movie, and one that i wouldnt mind seeing again. The best dancing movie to come out in the last 5 years i would have to say.

Great movie with unbelievable stepping! Kudos to HBCUs! I would highly recommend this movie...good actors and it keeps your interest.

No should ever claim that this is a great movie but it is still enjoyable. It is the typical teenage movie set up with guy likes girl etc. It does have a lot of great dance involved and if you like step then it will not disapoint.

The movie was excellent and extremely inspirational. I watched it several times and even had my son sit and watch it. It was "Another Teen Gets Out Of The Street" movie. It was awesome!

I watched this movie before several times and totally loved from the first second of watching. Like the actors play, dancing choreography, the script: everything!! I am big fan of this movie genre.

Its one of my daughter's favorite movies. She doesn't get tired of watching over and over and over and over AGAIN. SHE LOVES IT!

I recently recieve the movie and i though it was absolutely great, i was patiently waiting and it came out on DVD, its greattttttttttt

This was a long time coming, was getting tired of watching gangster movies and seeing our young black men in movies selling drugs and seemingly doing nothing with their lives. This movie shows that there are some very educated young and old black men and women and they are not all oput shaking it on a rap video or looking like thugs.
