I thought this game was going to be boring, but i was mistaken.

It sucks you in and you won't want to put the controller down any time soon!!!
recommended for anyone who like real fishing and who's got lots of time waste.

This game is as close to real fishing as it gets. At times the frustration level is the same can't find the fish or they won't bite. I have this game in PC so now that I have xBox 360 I just had to get again. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fishing and can't get out to do real fishing.

Hubby loved it ... fun for someone who likes to fish. Graphics aren't the best but it's ok. hubby liked working up on the tournaments and how they got the certain fish in diffrent groups and challenges.

I'm a tournament fisherman with 30 plus years on the water and I can tell you this game is full of holes if you love fishing. Lets start with the negatives first. I'll start with the fact that all you have in you tackle box is Rapala plugs, Rapala line, Rapala reels ect. This makes for great advertisement, but not such a great game. It's like having a racing game with only one car or a shooter with only one gun. All the other methods and forms of catching fish are forgotten, worms, jigs, tubes, spinner baits, ect. Now, when you do get to fishing in the game all the fish act alike. They all run at the bait stop, look at it and then all you have to do is stop tap the lure twice and they hit. Even the PIKE, tell me one time anyone has ever seen a Pike run on a lure then stop to look at it. They hit a lure at full speed and never stop. When a Bass hits a sub-surface plug they don't stop to check it out. Now let's get to the fight, once you have a fish hooked I couldn't see any change in the action when I moved the pool one way or another with the fish close to the boat. The fights were often short and not very challenging. Now we have the fish in the boat. When was the last time anyone has seen an 11 inch 3 pond bass or an 18 pound large mouth. The sizes on these fish are not possible in many cases and hard to believe in others. When it comes to the size of the lakes, they're more like ponds than lakes. I couldn't figure out what season it was. This has a lot to do with were to look for fish. So I found myself going to point and other structure were you might look but this took a lot of fun out of the game.
On the plus side, the graphics are good, castings not bad and I did find fish were you would think to find them. Pike in shallow bays, Walleye on rocks a ledges ect. In close, if you know fishing try Pro Fishing Challenge this game was done by people who know fishing. All type's of presentations are available. Fish move with the seasons they hit and fight like they should. It will give the fisherman in the family hours of fun. Rapala Pro fishing should be call Kids Fun Fishing and as such might rate a little higher. If you want to buy this game for a young player they might have fun with it. Just stay away if it's for someone who Know's Fishing.

Good fishing game if you like to fish. Bad fishing game if you're looking for versatility in gaming. You'll definitely enjoy this game for a while, but lack of challenge and repetition kill the fishing mood. Overall though, worth 30.00.

I bought this for Christmas as a fun thing to play when its cold outside. We love this game, we have had hours of fun playing it, the funny thing is its just my husband and I playing it, we feel like children again.

This is a fun game for the whole family. I love to fish so when you cant get out and go turn on the xbox and put in the game and you will be hooked.

This seems to be a good fishing game. I wish I could save the game in tournament play after a day segment and not have to do the intire tournament b4 saving as I do not like to play games for that that long.
All in all it is an enjoyable game.

The underwater view is really cool!! I always wondered what it was like seeing things from the fishes perspective. When you don't want to actually go out to go fishing, this is the very next best thing!!

I do a lot of real Bass fishing in Lake Okeechobee and most of South Florida. Oh those days when I can't actually get out and fish, I pop this game in. It is much better than the regualr XBOX version, which I also have. Sit at your favorite lounge chair with a cooler next to you and you won't know the difference.

The Rapala Tournament Fishing Game is like wetting your hook in the river or lake and enjoying it from your living room. If you want the experience of fishing without the mosquitoes this is the game for you. Graphics are great and very realistic. A wholesome game that the whole family can enjoy, highly recommended.

A very realistic fishing game,I was kind of skeptical before I bought it but after I played for the first few minutes I was sold. I would recommend this game to anybody who enjoys fishing games.

I would have to say the game isn't unplayable. I wouldn't say anyone other then a fan of fishing games is going to get much of a thrill out of this game.

Other then being repetitive the game is a bit easy. Even on the harder settings you never really have to leave far off the docks or have to move the lure's in any special way. The wife and I finished the game pretty fast and neither of us could say we will be playing much more.

i wanted a fun fishing game and i seen the Rapala on here so i figure i give it a shot and i was amazed how fun the game is

I got to wanting a fishing game, after playing the old "Bass Hunter 64". This far surpasses any fishing game that I have ever played. The gameplay is as realistic as possible, and the graphics are impecable.

Hours and hours of fun! Something the whole family can play!! The only downside is it is only one player! Good graphics too!
