Roomba 4230 Scheduler Robotic Vacuum

I saw my first roomba at a friends house and she went on and on about how much she loved it. I got my Roomba thinking it would pick up the little things more like grooming and that I would probably have to go over the area once a week just for a good thorough clean. I was amazed to see how well the little sucking disc genie did. At first I played with it as Im sure many will do. But then when it came down to cleanring this little sucker did the job. I put my big vacuum in the closest and havn't seen it since. The remove controller kids will love and they will insist on helping you clean the house! Thank You iRobot for being housecleaning into the 21st century!

Update 3 months later: I was suprized when I went to the Irobot website to register my Roomba. I bought it off ebay and it said New Factory Sealed Not Refurbished. After registering it, I found out it was refurbished. It's not a horrible thing but I think more of a dishonesty issue by the seller.

I bought some upgrades for my roomba which I find is GREAT! I was able to buy an intelbin that tells me when the thing is full and needs to be emptied. I also bought a few extra virtual walls as the roomba likes to wonder.

The roomba did get stuck a few times but nothing major. A downside is I have one dog and two cats so I had to clean my Roomba's brushes and parts a bit. I recommend buying the pet brush kit off Irobot.

Overall after owning a Roomba for 3 months now I think it was money well spent. I save a lot of time and can do other things with my kids. :)

I was not real sure about the quality and eficiency of such a thing. once it arrived i turned it loose on the kitchen and was amazed at what it picked up then i turned it loose on the bedroom WOW! it cleaned in places like under the bed and could not believe what it picked up. this thing is outstanding.... so today i purchased a new scheduler roomba. it is outstanding at best.

I am in love with my roomba. Finally cleaning your home has caught up with technology. I rave to my friends and the gawk and awe over my little robot. They didn't think it could do the job as an old vac but that little guy provide them all wrong. My friends keep bugging their husbands for one now :)

Make sure you buy from a reputable seller, if you do, you will absolutely LOVE this item! I am picky about my floors and we have pets so having a machine do the vacuuming for me on a daily basis is great. It doesn't pick up dirt in corners or right along the baseboard but you will be impressed with the amount of work this little machine can do...over tile, carpet, wood surfaces...it doesn't matter, it will pick it up and look great doing it. We loved it so much we bought another one for our upstairs!

The Roomba is the most amazing thing I've ever had. I have had a "famous
maker" vacuum for years and thought my floors were clean, until I ran the
roomba---------then I saw the difference this vacuum makes. It brings the
nap back up so it looks like new, and is very easy to empty, and clean for
the next use. I absolutely love it, and now 3 more of my family have gotten
one since I showed them mine.

It's a very helpful convienant robot that takes away the chore of haveing to vacume twice a week, as we had to b/c of hardwood floors. Roomba, for the most part, can figure out how to get himself out of most places, but unfortunatly at times tends to unnecessarily favor areas. But the technology in him mostly helps him avoid that problem. Highly recommend.....and we haven't even used the scheduler part of it yet, but once we do I'm sure it'll get even better.

I bought this because I'm tired of hauling a heavy vacuum cleaner around. I thought that the lighter suction of the roomba would be balanced by the more frequent cleaning my rugs would get with the roomba. So far I am delighted with the performance of the machine and the appearance of my rugs and wood floors. I even used it on my porch and it did a great job. I would recommend this to anyone. I wanted to see if it really gets to every part of the floor so I sprinkled small snips of red tissue paper all over my dining room floor and turned on the roomba. Sure enough, there wasn't one piece of tissue left after the roomba was done. I LOVE it!!

This one was actually for a friend. I bought mine about 6 months ago because I have a rabbit that is constantly under my bed and I was having a hard time getting under there to vacuum so I bought my roomba. And I love it! I turn it on and shut my door and when it is done it docks itself and my room looks great. I would recommend it to anybody that has to vacuum and has a hard time getting to areas.

Great Tip....the best way to clean the brush ( I have 2 cats , bird & a Pomerainian Dog ) use a hair comb it works great.

I was very pensive about buying this Roomba because Seller stated honestly there was a problem which was "probably" the battery. Communicating with the Seller was great. Prompt response with honest concise answers - no promises! I did my homework & went on line to check reviews for this model which were excellent.

I placed my bid and won!! It came, looked brand new in the original box and I put my new battery in it. Had EVERYTHING, lots of extras like roller brushes, virtual walls, filters, which had never been used - except no manual, so I went on line, found it, printed it, no problem!!

This Roomba is WONDERFUL!! It works perfectly on carpet or tile - I am diag 9 yrs with PD and additionally have low back problems - Roomba is EXACTLY what I need - love it - it cleans really well, does not miss ANY places, docks itself when finished cleaning a room, recharges within 3 hrs - dust bin is large and easy to empty; I can't believe how much pet hair and dirt it picks up!! Again, I LOVE MY ROOMBA!!

With the Roomba, I can probably go a month without getting my big vacuum out for deep cleaning. Honestly would not be surprised if I went over the carpet after Roomba cleaning, there would be little or no dirt.

This Roomba far exceeds my expectations. I have ceramic tile in kitchen & dining area. I live in the country with lots of sand - after the Roomba cleans, I can go barefoot without a trace of sand or grit on my feet. Amazing. Floor feels the same as if it had been washed.

I never recieved it. The post office lost it before it ever left the state it was supposed to come from.

I am running the Roomba on just hardwood floors - no carpets to hop onto & off of - Just hardwoods - and I LOVE IT! - I have cats that come out of the litter box and leave kitty litter trails in their wake. I run the roomba at least once a day in the room w/ the litter box, simply close the door over, and within 30 minutes zero sign of litter anywhere. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I run Roomba in my bedrooms every other day, and it keeps all floor surfaces completely fur & tumbleweed free.

Simply clean out the filters every time you run it & you are golden.

I like this product very much, I have two for presents and two for home. I have also got three other's to buy it.

After having broken my foot, I found it difficult to vacuum and watched as my floor got increasingly dirtier as the days went by. I decided to buy a rooma and am wishing I would have done so a long time ago. I have children who produce lots of crumbs and pets who produce lots of stray fur and it works great for both. Great item!

i should of bought the washing one, it is new and works well so i am not complaining i am happy and you do a good job and would buy from you again thanks again jeff kinney elkton mn
